It checks all the storage devices that are in your PC to verify that they are working properly.

Media Checker is a simple tool (which doesn`t require installing) that lets you do a minute and exhaustive check of all the storage devices you have. It not only checks your hard drives but also CD/DVD drives, diskettes, pendrives, ZIP drives, etc.

If Media Checker detects any physical error in any of those devices, it tells the user, so they can be aware of possible failures.
